Library table: Unit Feat Behaviour (ID 433)  ·  S&S Editor slot: 17  ·  Template: 17 unit_feat_behavior.csv

Defines the combat effect of a Unit Feat. The Behaviour ID (col 0) selects an engine combat behaviour and dictates how the Data columns are read; the Phase/attack/enemy-group columns gate when it applies.

Columns

Column names + count are read from the live template (the game's own headers); descriptions are curated.

Col Name Description
0 Behaviour ID Behaviour ID — selects the engine combat behaviour (and how Data1-4 are interpreted). See the behaviour list below.
1 Unit Feat ID Unit Feat ID — must match a Unit Feats row (col 0).
2 Name Name — your own comment field.
3 Regular Attack Regular Attack — 1 if used in regular (melee) attack, else 0.
4 Artillery Attack Artillery Attack — 1 if used in artillery/ranged attack, else 0.
5 Phase Phase — when in combat it applies. Values: 1 = only when attacking the hex; 2 = only when defending the hex; 3 = combat all; 4 = result changer (kill/pinned/retreat/miss); 5 = attack-startup mod; 11 = start of combat round; 12 = river / lt modifier
6 Enemy Unit Group Enemy unit group — only takes effect if the opponent individual is of this group. Values: -1 = all unit groups; 0 = Infantry; 1 = Guns; 2 = Motorized; 3 = Tanks; 4 = Walkers; 5 = Protectors
7 Data1 Data1 — meaning depends on the Behaviour ID (col 0).
8 Data2 Data2 — meaning depends on the Behaviour ID.
9 Data3 Data3 — meaning depends on the Behaviour ID.
10 Data4 Data4 — meaning depends on the Behaviour ID (current template; not in the S&S doc).

Notes

  • Behaviour IDs are an engine enum. Common ones (from the S&S doc, unverified vs current source): 14 Avoid-Retreat (Data1 = % chance), 16 Destroy-Entrench (Data1 = entr loss %/round), 17 Build-Entrench (Engineer), 24 Kill→Retreat (Data1 = % convert), 26 Breakthrough (Data1 = % chance). Inspect a vanilla feat in the debugger to copy a known-good setup.

  • Full source-derived behaviour-ID semantics are a planned follow-up; treat the list above as provisional.
